They should be aware of any health conditions they have and the names of all medications they take. Due to privacy laws, Health Services staff cannot discuss medical information about your child's illness or treatment however, in case of an emergency, you will be notified. All employees of Student Health Services must sign a confidentiality form upon hiring. Breach of this agreement is grounds for dismissal. Every student should have some basic health care supplies and tools on how to deal with minor medical problems. Send your student to college with:
* Digital Thermometer
* First aid kit: band aids, antibiotic ointment, acetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Aleve), etc.Think of the things you keep on hand at home.
